I have been using wordpress for a while and can say that it is prttey amazing. However there are some things that one learns only after making mistakes.1. Get the permalink structure right the first time. Changing it is very very counter productive. A lot of link building efforts go waste if permalinks need to be changed.2. Don't fuss too much about themes. Focus on content and traffic first. Initially and for a long time afterwards, theme does not make much of a difference in the big scheme of things.
