Whether you’re new to acting or an experienced performer looking to refine your technique, Black Box Studios’ Adult Programs can help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

Students from Black Box Studios’ Adult Acting Workshop perform ‘Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.’
Adult programs are taught using an improv-based method that Black Box’s founders developed during their years working in professional theater in New York City. All acting classes begin by helping students build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of voice, movement, character development, and script analysis.
From there, students put these skills into action as they perform scenes, songs, and productions of plays and musicals with their fellow classmates. Most courses are performance-based and culminate in an end-of-semester production at BBS’ Teaneck, New Jersey location that is fully staged and open to family, friends, and the community.
Whether you’re looking to break into acting or take your career to the next level, Black Box has what you need.
